Is it really free to post a job? What's the catch?
Yes, it's FREE to post a job on brantwork.ca -- there is no catch!
If you'd like your job to be highlighted to stand out in the listings, you can upgrade to a highlighted listing for $20.
If you'd like your job featured at the top of the listings, you can do that for $50.
Both options are completely optional and are not required to use the site.
How long will my Job Posting stay on the site?
All job posts will be valid for 30 days.
Why are some jobs posted longer than 30 days? I saw a job that has been active for over a year.
If you see a job that has been posted for a long time, it means the position is currently still available. Some of our businesses have open positions posted year round for certain positions.
Our site lists jobs from local businesses who post directly to our web site and we also have jobs that are posted directly to businesses web sites that we've linked to. As our network continues to grow, you'll see more and more listings on the site.
What if my job is for another City (ie: Hamilton, etc...?)
Thank you for your interest. Only jobs in Brantford and it's immediate area will be accepted. Brantford, Paris, Simcoe, Burford etc... will all be accepted. If in doubt, feel free to reach out before posting your job.
Why do show jobs list pay/salary and others don't?
We encourage all job listings to include the pay/salary ranges. Not all businesses feel comfortable sharing that information though. This could based on a number of factors, such as offering a different payscale based on experience.
While we respect businesses option to not share the pay, we strongly encourage our businesses to include this information to attract more qualified candidates.
